Deleting your account and data

Last updated: 21 August 2026 · English summary

This is an English summary. The reference version is the Polish one: Usuwanie konta i danych — that is also the address listed in the app stores. Where the two differ, the Polish text governs.

You can delete your Flattera account and the data attached to it at any time. You can also ask us to delete selected data without closing the account.

Delete your account in the app

The fastest route is through the app's settings:

  1. Open the app and sign in.
  2. Go to Studio → Account settings.
  3. Under Account and privacy, choose Delete account and confirm.

The app interface is in Polish: the entries above are Studio → Ustawienia konta → Konto i prywatność → Usuń konto.

The account and its database records are deleted immediately and irreversibly. Garment thumbnails are removed right after; if the file store is briefly unavailable, the system keeps a technical key with no user data in it and retries the deletion until it succeeds.

Ask us to delete your data

If you can't get into the app, email us from the address linked to your account: hello@flattera.app. Say whether you want the whole account removed or only specific data, such as your wardrobe or your colour profile. We'll reply without undue delay and no later than 30 days.

What gets deleted

What we don't store in the first place

The selfie used for colour analysis is never saved: we process it in memory and discard it when the analysis finishes. Those are the only photos covered by that rule.

Clothing photos are treated differently — they're ordinary wardrobe content we're entitled to keep. Today we technically store only a small JPEG thumbnail (size comes from the current configuration, presently up to 1024 px) and we don't store the full-resolution original — that's a description of the current implementation, not a privacy commitment. Deleting a single analysis from your history removes the entry together with its photo. Removing a garment from your wardrobe also deletes its photo — the entry itself is only hidden in the app, because saved outfits and the calendar still refer to it. If the same photo is still used somewhere else, the file disappears once you remove the last place using it. Deleting your account removes everything.
