Terms of Service
Last updated: 21 August 2026 · English summary
This is an English summary of Flattera's Terms of Service, written for people who don't read Polish. The binding, complete version is the Polish one: Regulamin. Where the two differ, the Polish text governs.
Who provides the service
Flattera is operated by Bartosz Matusiak, a sole trader registered in the Polish CEIDG register. Contact: hello@flattera.app. Full company details are in the Polish terms.
What Flattera is
Flattera works out your colour season — from a selfie analysis with your explicit consent, or from a manual choice — scores a garment on colour, cut and style, and shows a match score with an explanation. It also keeps a digital wardrobe, capsules, packing plans and an outfit calendar, and suggests products from partner shops.
Flattera is an advisory tool. A match score is a recommendation produced by an algorithm and an AI model, not an expert ruling. We don't guarantee that every recommendation matches your taste and we're not liable for your purchasing decisions. Flattera is not a medical, cosmetic or diagnostic service.
Who can use it
You must be at least 16 years old. You need an account — email and password, or sign-in with Google or Apple. One person, one account; don't share your credentials.
Plans and limits
There are two plans, and the full match verdict — colour, cut and style — is included in both. The difference is mostly volume and wardrobe-organising features.
- Free: 3 garment scans a month (counter resets monthly, Europe/Warsaw time), the full verdict with an explanation, colour analysis from a selfie with the complete season palette, a wardrobe of up to 30 items, and product recommendations in the daily pool.
- Premium: no quantity limit on scans (subject to the fair-use safeguard below), extended colour analysis including make-up, jewellery and accessory guidance plus re-analysis, an unlimited wardrobe with capsules, packing plans and the outfit calendar, weather-aware suggestions for a city you choose, product search by colour code, and priority support.
Price, payment and cancellation
Premium is not on sale yet. There is no working purchase flow in the app today, so you are not entering into any paid contract with us. The rules below start applying on the day the subscription appears in the app stores.
When it does, you'll buy Premium in the app store — Google Play or the App Store. The store takes the payment and is the party to the transaction; your card details never reach Flattera. Planned prices: PLN 24.99 monthly, PLN 59.99 quarterly, PLN 199.00 yearly. The binding price is the one shown in the store at the moment of purchase, in your currency and with the tax that applies in your country.
You cancel a subscription in your store account settings, not with us, and Premium runs to the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by the store under its own rules, because the store took the payment — including the information duties around the 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content. Receipts and invoices come from the store; Flattera does not issue invoices to consumers and has no access to your billing data.
Fair use
Premium has no quantity limit on scans, but it does have a technical safeguard against abuse: image analysis costs us money on every call, so we may throttle requests that are obviously automated or well outside normal use of the app.
When using Flattera, you agree not to:
- upload photos of other people without their knowledge and consent,
- upload unlawful or offensive content, or content that infringes someone else's rights (including copyright),
- work around plan limits, in particular by creating multiple accounts,
- use the app in an automated way (scripts, bots, bulk scraping) without our permission,
- attempt to breach the security of the service or disrupt it.
Breaking these rules can lead to your account being suspended or removed.
Your photos and your content
- The photos you upload stay yours. We acquire no rights beyond what is needed to perform the analysis you asked for.
- Selfies are not stored — they're processed in memory and discarded after the analysis. Clothing photos are treated differently: they're ordinary wardrobe content we're entitled to keep. Today we keep a thumbnail of each so your wardrobe can display it.
- The rule about other people's photos also covers clothing photos where somebody else is visible (a mirror reflection, say). We treat such a photo like any other clothing photo, but it's on you to make sure uploading it doesn't infringe that person's rights. We never run face analysis on clothing photos.
- We don't use your photos to train AI models — neither ours nor any third-party provider's.
- Details are in the privacy summary and, bindingly, in the Polish privacy policy.
Affiliate links
Some shop links in the app are affiliate links: if you buy after clicking one, the shop may pay us a commission. It doesn't raise the price you pay and it doesn't change the order or the content of recommendations — ranking follows how well a product matches your profile. Affiliate links are labelled. Your purchase contract is with the shop, not with us; fulfilment, returns, warranty and complaints are the shop's responsibility on the shop's terms.
Availability and liability
- We aim to keep the service available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted operation — maintenance windows, infrastructure outages and unavailability of external AI providers are all possible.
- We're not liable for the outcome of purchasing decisions made on the basis of a recommendation, nor for a gap between the algorithm's verdict and your own judgement.
- Our liability towards consumers is shaped by mandatory provisions of law and these terms do not limit them.
Changes and closing your account
We'll tell you about material changes in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. If you have an active Premium subscription, a change does not affect your current billing period — the terms as of your purchase date apply until it ends.
You can delete your account at any time: Studio → Account settings → Account and privacy → Delete account. Step-by-step instructions, including what to do if you can't get into the app, are on the account deletion page.
Which version counts
This page exists to be understood, not to be relied on as a contract. The binding text is the Polish Regulamin; if anything here is unclear or appears to conflict with it, the Polish version governs. Questions: hello@flattera.app.
